OWLs 2020 Wrap Up

I did a check in on my progress midway through the readathon on my BookTube channel, but I hadn’t updated here. It’s time to talk about how my exams went this year.

We had a lockdown throughout April, so there was plenty of time to stay inside and read. So, I should have pretty much nailed these exams.

OWLs Magical Readathon 2020 TBR

Andy Williams may have sung It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year about Christmas, but for bookworms and Harry Potter fans this song also applies to April.

April is the month of the OWLs, part of the Magical Readathon run by G from Book Roast. This readathon is set in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, and throughout the month of April students complete their OWLs by reading books fitting the prompts. It’s as if you were in the Great Hall taking the exams yourself.

In August, you can complete your NEWTs and aim for a career in the Wizarding World.  I’m concentrating on a career too, and I’ve already picked it out.

I filmed a TBR for my (brand new) Book Tube channel, but let’s share my TBR here too. I’ve also put a list together of books that I don’t need, but could get around to and try to get as many OWLs as I can.

Anything to take my mind off what’s happening in the world right now.
