About Me

I’m Aoife, mid 20s Irish woman. I’m a DCU BA Journalism graduate and an MA Magazine Journalism graduate in Cardiff University.

There’s me, in neither purple nor polka dots. I forget where I was going with this.

Pretty Purple Polka Dots was born on 11 July 2012, and began as a lifestyle blog. Over time, it developed into a book blog.
Reading is my number one passion, and I’m honoured to share reviews of some of my favourite books, as well as previews of some upcoming greats, with you all. If you love Buzzfeed, there are also some listicles popping up every so often.

Thank you for stopping by, and don’t hesitate to get in touch!
