The last days of the year are always a time of looking back over the year just past, as well as looking ahead to what’s coming. So it’s the perfect time to fill you in on the final leg of my 2016 Reading Challenge.
On the last update, I felt I was performing quite well, but there was still that little bit to fill in. Did I reach the goal?
Schools are back in business, the days are slowly getting shorter and layers of clothing are starting to creep back into our daily style. September is here, and with it a look back over my reading challenge progress.
In my last check up, I actually performed pretty healthily. I’d had plenty of opportunity to catch up on my reading, meaning I was sitting above schedule. I’d also made a very good start at the other reading challenges I’ve been following this year.
So, how have the last four months fared?
It’s the first of May, and the first four months of the year have passed. Time to look back and see how all those reading challenges I set myself in January are faring.
By the way, January feels like it was yesterday.
Last year, without even knowing what I was doing, I completed the Modern Mrs Darcy reading challenge. This year, alongside my Goodreads challenge of reading 50 books, I decided to complete the two in tandem.
As well as that, Sharon of Behind Green Eyes introduced me to the PopSugar reading challenge. Naturally, I had to take this one on board for 2016 too.
