For me, March is the month the Irish take over. The books I read in March are solely, if not then mostly, written by Irish authors in honour of St Patrick’s Day.
I also take part in the Irish Readathon each March, which is more of an incentive to discover new Irish books and Irish authors.
The shortest month of the year somehow turned out to be one productive month in terms of how many books I read and how many I hauled.
Since there’s so many to list, time to get started. Of course, most of the books I read this month were romance books, in a surprise to not one person.
New year, new books. I like January for setting out some plans of what I’ll read in the coming year, as well as finding out about the amazing books to come out in the year.
With a brand new year ahead, I wasted no time at all getting into some new reading. I’ve even got some of my reading challenge prompts already ticked off.
Another reading year has passed by, and it’s time to almost officially close it off. I still have some things I’d like to look back on, but one of the best ways – and one of my favourite ways – to look back over what I read the previous year is this survey.
I find it super in depth and informative, and it makes me think about a lot of topics and insights I probably wouldn’t think about otherwise.
To compile my answers, I took a look at my reading journal, and my profiles on Goodreads and the Storygraph. I found this survey super helpful and insightful, and I hope it’ll be so for you too.
