This post is part of Top Ten Tuesday run by Jana from That Artsy Reader Girl.
I love sitting down at the beginning of the year and setting myself some goals for the coming year. With the year we’ve just had, I have had a rethink about some of my goals – I don’t think I’m going to be able to “visit a new place every month” in 2021 either.
Luckily, book resolutions are still something I can set and (hopefully) achieve. There are just a few things I would love to do by the end of the year.
It’s the final week of the year, and my reading for this year is officially over. I’ve had quite the year, and not just in terms of reading. As I had a lot of down time in the early year, it’s only natural that should be reflected in my reading, right?
I wasn’t so sure my reading this year would go well. I’d hit two pretty severe reading slumps throughout the year, which always happens when I’m on holidays. As I’d had a couple of holidays this year, I didn’t really expect the numbers to clock up.
The last days of the year are always a time of looking back over the year just past, as well as looking ahead to what’s coming. So it’s the perfect time to fill you in on the final leg of my 2016 Reading Challenge.
On the last update, I felt I was performing quite well, but there was still that little bit to fill in. Did I reach the goal?
