My Favourite Booktubers

2019 was the year I really jumped on the Booktube train. I’d been watching it before then, of course, but I wasn’t totally into it. Last year was the first year I specifically spent some time watching channels, looking for new recommendations, and of course filling out my shelves with new books to read.

There are some BookTubers who will firmly stay on my watch list for a long time. Enter with caution – you may fall in love with them, and they might just blow your TBR completely out of proportion.

The January Book Tag

BookTube was one of my biggest vices in 2019, and one of my favourite channels was Book Break. Book Break is the You Tube channel from UK publishing house PanMcMillan, fronted by Emma.

This year, they created their own book tag. It’s perfect for fighting off the January blues – a lot easier to do now we’re on the home stretch out of the month.

Dream Book Panels

This post is part of Six for Sunday run by Steph from A Little But a Lot.

I admit, I haven’t been to a book event in a very long time. The last I was at was one was DeptCon way back in 2016. I don’t have a whole lot of experience in book panels, but there are some people I would really love to see speak, and some panels I would pay good money to attend. As there are some books with similar themes, some authors may appear on more than one panel. I hope they’ve kept some time free.

Some girls grew up living for Saturday so they could head for town and spend hours at the MAC counter fawning over their latest eyeshadow. Me, I lived for Saturday mornings in Easons, perched in front of the YA book shelves, breathing it in.

Neither of us were doing it wrong. We were simply indulging in our passions.
