Counting to 10 with Books

One of the earliest things we learn to do is count, and another early skill we acquire is reading. Today’s post skillfully combines both, as I’m going to count from one to 10 using just book titles.

Book Titles as Full Sentences

Books with one word titles are common, as are longer book titles. However, something I’m noticing quite a lot on my shelves is book titles that work perfectly well as fully functioning sentences.

Book Titles That Make Great Crayola Colours

One thing I loved when I was younger was the weird names on Crayola pencils and crayons. I never usually had a set for myself (we were a Faber Castell family) but I’d often see them with my school friends.

One thing that will always stick out about Crayola is the interesting names they give their colours. You have your usual names, like sky blue (that was always a favourite colour of mine from the pack) but also some more out there ones such as Fuzzy Wuzzy Brown.

With this last one in mind, I took a look through my shelves to find some titles the colour naming department might be interested in.

I love books, but music is another big thing in my life. I played piano until I was 18, and my phone’s memory is 90 per cent Spotify downloads from numerous playlists I’ve either made or found.
