This book did not fit any of my challenge criteria.
Tabby Brown is tired of trying to fit in. She doesn’t want to go to parties – in fact, she would much rather snuggle up on the sofa with her favourite book.
It’s like she hasn’t found her people …
Then Tabby joins a club that promises to celebrate books. What could go wrong? EVERYTHING – especially when making new friends brings out an AWKWARD BUZZING feeling all over her body.
There’s nothing I love to talk about more than I love to talk about myself. I’m also partial to talking about food and about myself, but for now we’re going to concentrate on the books. Luckily, there are a couple of places on the internet where I can freely and willingly talk about books. It’s saved my friends and family an awful lot of hassle.
Some of these bookish communities hold a very special place in my cold dead heart. They’re filled with happiness, lovely people, and the best discussion topic a girl could hope for. Some of them are a little more exclusive, but the others, you are more than welcome to join in.
Christmas is a time for doing what you love with those you love most. For me, that means sitting with my family and eating my body weight in chocolate while flying through some reading.
This year, I’ve been lucky to spend time with a lot of friends and family, and I’ve gotten some pretty lovely presents from them. Naturally, they mostly had to do with books.
Some of these were gifts, while some came back with me after a trip back to Cardiff. All images are via my Bookstagram account.
