What I Love About Book Blogging

I have to admit. I’ve been really disheartened by blogging in the last few months. It came to the point where I wanted to give up for a while. Instead, I took a little break, so I could come back a little better and a lot more ready to blog and share all my ideas.

In this time away from my laptop, and from social media, I had a little time to think about why I started blogging, and subsequently changed to book blogging, in the first place.

2018 Reading Challenge

The years are definitely passing a lot faster these days because I swear I wrote last year’s reading challenge just yesterday. I have just closed off that challenge from 2017, and let’s be real it did have a little bit of room for improvement. Thankfully, there’s a whole new year stretching out in front of me with some brand new prompts to tick off.

This year, I’m going to do my very best to make sure I don’t fall behind. I’ll be keeping track of the challenges in my reading journal, so I can be certain I have checked a prompt off.

With so many books out there that I really want to read, and a whole 365 days in which to read them, I am really hoping that this year, I’ll be finishing up with a majority of books ticked off from the two prompt challenges, and again have surpassed my Goodreads challenge. Do we be realistic, or head out with dreams of glory? Time to find out what’s in store.
